Brown alumina
Artificial brown corundum is a very hard sharp-edged abrasive suitable for blasting in pressure and injector cabins equipped with abrasive recycling. It is also used for free sanding.
Used for
- production of grinding tools and aid
- production of refractory blocks, bricks, cements, ceramic cases, catalysts and ramming mixtures
- tumbling in loose form, drum, vibrating and deburring – deburring
- blasting of sheets, welds, structures in dry and wet conditions
- lapping of surface and dimensions – achieving parallelism of surfaces and dimensional accuracy
- in cutting stone process as a cutting medium for rope and frame saws

White alumina
Artificial white corundum (fused alumina) is characterized by high corundum content, high chemical purity and white color. It is one of the most important basic grinding materials. It is used for production of grinding tools, free grinding, blasting, etc. Since it contains a minimum proportion of SiO2, it is not harmful.
